Congratulations of leaders of foreign states and governments on Astana’s 20th anniversary and the birthday of the President of Kazakhstan

The Head of State continues to receive telegrams of congratulations from the heads of state and government on the occasion of Astana’s 20th anniversary and his birthday.

In his congratulatory telegram, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin expressed confidence in further strengthening of the alliance and strategic partnership between Astana and Moscow, as well as expansion of productive cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia within EEU, CSTO, SCO, CIS and other international structures.

"By your activity as the Head of State you have earned deserved respect of Kazakhstan’s citizens, as well as high international authority. The ideas of the Eurasian integration formulated by you are consistently embodied in life, contributing to the social and economic development of our countries, ensuring stability and security on the continent.

I sincerely wish you good health, happiness, prosperity and new achievements," the telegram reads.

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, stressed that Nursultan Nazarbayev’s personal contribution is highly appreciated in Belarus in strengthening the Belarusian-Kazakhstani relations, which have a strategic character.

"Your creative and multifaceted activities have made Kazakhstan strong and independent, and a constructive and far-sighted foreign policy has been widely recognized in the international arena.

I am convinced that deepening of bilateral partnership will continue to serve the interests of our friendly nations, and the development of a common Eurasian home," the telegram reads.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in his letter wished the Head of State new achievements in all undertakings and aspirations for the benefit of Kazakhstan’s nation.

"It is gratifying to note that under your wise leadership fraternal Kazakhstan confidently achieves great successes in social and economic development and consistently strengthens its authority in the international arena.

I am convinced that the high level of our bilateral relations will continue to serve as a solid basis for further expansion of the Turkmen-Kazakh strategic partnership and interstate ties across the entire spectrum of directions," the telegram reads.

President of Armenia Armen Sargsyan has noted in his telegram that the existing constructive interaction between the two countries will significantly enrich the agenda of the Armenian-Kazakh interstate cooperation.

"Rich experience of your state activity, ability to firmly defend the interests of Kazakhstan and solve the tasks of establishing broad international cooperation have earned you deep respect and recognized authority in the international arena.

I wish you good health, prosperity and success, and the people of Kazakhstan - peace and prosperity," the telegram reads.

President of Moldova Igor Dodon congratulated Nursultan Nazarbayev on his birthday, noting his contribution to creating and establishing the Eurasian Economic Union.

"As early as the 1990s, knowing how important it is for countries in a complex modern world not only to preserve their sovereignty and independence, but also to multiply their economic potential, you proposed to create an interstate association based on the principles of voluntary and equal rights for this purpose. Your idea was realized by the creation of the Eurasian Economic Union, in which the Republic of Moldova received the status of an observer state," the telegram reads.

King of Spain Felipe VI sent a telegram of congratulations on the 20th anniversary of Astana and the Head of State’s birthday.

"I always recall the hospitality with which you received me in your country when I visited the opening ceremony of Astana EXPO 2017 International Exhibition.

Thanks to this magnificent opportunity, I saw how your capital turned into a major city with a modern infrastructure, looking to the future," the telegram reads.

President of Poland Andrzej Duda noted that friendly relations between Kazakhstan and Poland are evidence of fruitful bilateral cooperation.

"Kazakhstan remains one of Poland's most important partners in Central Asia.

I have great respect for your participation in solving global problems. This was confirmed by Kazakhstan's initiatives in the chairmanship of the UN Security Council, including a high-level debate in which I had the honour to participate. I hope that the adopted decisions will contribute to  strengthening of peace and security in the region and the world," the telegram reads.

President of Serbia Alexander Vučić congratulated all Kazakhstanis on the 20th anniversary of Astana and wished success to the Head of State in his responsible post.

"Let me express my admiration for success achieved by Kazakhstan. I am convinced that, due to your proper leadership, you will achieve all your goals as part of such initiatives as New Development Opportunities under the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Five Social Initiatives, and Kazakhstan-2050 Strategy.

I am very pleased with the fact that thanks to your dedicated work, based on your clear vision, Kazakhstan is developing so quickly and taking an increasingly important place in the world," the telegram reads.

President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev expressed satisfaction with the progress of interstate dialogue both on a bilateral basis and within the framework of relations between the European Union and Kazakhstan.

"I am sure that friendly relations between our countries and nations will keep on contributing to strengthening our political, economic and cultural cooperation in all areas," the telegram reads.

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili stressed that for a relatively short time since gaining independence Kazakhstan under Nursultan Nazarbayev's leadership had built a strong and developed state enjoying a high international authority and trust.

"The symbol of modern Kazakhstan’s progress, undoubtedly, is its capital city Astana, which these days marks the 20th anniversary of its founding.

I would like to take this opportunity to highlight your invaluable contribution to the development and strengthening of cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan. I express confidence that the tradition of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan will strengthen in the future, " the telegram reads.

Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Russian Federation Government, in his congratulatory telegram highlights the personal contribution of the President of Kazakhstan to strengthening the relations of friendship, good-neighbourliness and alliance that connect the two states.

"Trade, economic and investment cooperation are progressing steadily, promising joint projects in energy, industry, infrastructure, high technologies and other areas are being implemented.

I am convinced that active partnership work on the government line will further enhance practical cooperation and deepen integration cooperation as part of the Eurasian Economic Union," the letter says.
